### Read Liverpool Verdict

I don’t believe there is a better manager in the world than Klopp, following a sensational 12 months.

Pep Guardiola’s stock has fallen ever so slightly, following Manchester City’s dip in form this season.

In my opinion, the champions have peaked as a side, whereas Liverpool look in their absolute prime as an outfit.

Age is playing a part in that, with many of the Reds’ players in their mid to late 20s, whereas a lot of City’s key men are in their 30s, namely Fernandinho, David Silva and Sergio Aguero.

There is also a hunger from the Merseysiders to get over the finish line this season, while City look like a team struggling to muster the energy to win three league titles in a row.

Klopp has turned Liverpool into a monster, making immaculate signings and changing the mindset of the entire club.

When he arrived they were top-four hopefuls and confidence was low, but there is now expectancy to win games, rather than hope.

Klopp promised to turn everyone from [“doubters to believers”](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/incoming/we-must-turn-doubters-believers-10227184) and he has delivered emphatically, with belief running through the manager, the players and the fans.
