# Liverpool fans lay into Reds supporter after bizarre criticism of Robertson

It’s fair to say Andy Robertson has had a slight dip of late, particularly by his own extremely high standards.

The Scot was given a tough examination by Adama Traore on Thursday, as Liverpool [won 2-1 away to Wolves](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51130417).

Robertson was partly at fault for Raul Jimenez’s equaliser and he was generally off the boil throughout, as was the case against [Manchester United](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51080695) last weekend.

It happens, though, with every player in the history of football experiencing spells of poor spell.

There is no denying that the 25-year-old has been an outstanding signing for Liverpool.

Many regard him as one of the best left-backs in the world, if not the best, and he has been a key man under Jurgen Klopp.

One Liverpool supporter bizarrely took the time to put a negative slant on Robertson, at a time when everything the Reds are doing should be celebrated:

> We need to start a discussion. Most overrated player in our squad and probably our worst starter. [pic.twitter.com/PeYeVGnmCU](https://t.co/PeYeVGnmCU)

These fans quickly put the individual in his place, not appreciating Robertson receiving such uncalled for criticism.

> Oh my gosh, why so ungrateful
