# Liverpool fans love Klopp shutting down journalist

Liverpool supporters loved what Jurgen Klopp said during his pre-Atletico Madrid press conference.

The Reds are preparing for a huge night at Anfield on Wednesday, as they look to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Klopp’s European champions will have to overturn a 1-0 deficit, however, following Saul Niguez’s solitary goal in the first leg of the last 16 clash.

With the match fast approaching, Klopp has been talking to the press about the game, along with other topics.

The subject of the Coronavirus cropped up, with the Liverpool manager firmly disagreeing with the opinion of a Spanish-based journalist.

Klopp didn’t take kindly to a comment about the current issue, delivering a withering putdown to the individual in question:

These Reds fans loved what they heard, lauding the boss for the ‘brutal’ nature of his honesty, as he continues to make if perfectly clear that he only wants to talk about football.
