# Liverpool fans love Tim Sherwood’s comments about Jordan Henderson

It has been quite a 12 months for Jordan Henderson, who has shone as Liverpool captain.

The 29-year-old famously [lifted](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48368443) the Champions League trophy last June – his first piece of silverware as Reds skipper – and this season he has gone on to hoist aloft the [UEFA Super Cup](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49332825) and [Club World Cup](https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/025a-0e9f8fe852b8-ff94b0553a0e-1000--club-world-cup-firmino-wins-final-for-liverpool/?referrer=%2Fuefachampionsleague%2Fnews%2Fnewsid%3D2636636) trophies, while at the same time being [tipped](https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/11933228/robertson-henderson-is-player-of-the-year) to win the PFA Player of the Year award.

The midfielder is also on the cusp of becoming the first Liverpool captain to win the Premier League, with Jurgen Klopp’s men knowing that 15 points will secure glory.

Henderson was again excellent for the Reds on Saturday evening, as they battled their way to a [1-0 win away to Norwich City](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51423887).

Speaking over the weekend, former Blackburn Rovers captain Tim Sherwood hailed the ‘unbelievable’ Henderson, not least his influence both on and off the pitch:

These Liverpool supporters loved what they heard, hailing their skipper in the process and agreeing with Sherwood’s remarks.
