# Liverpool fans love what Emre Can has said about Man United

Liverpool supporters have lauded Emre Can for his comments surrounding a potential move to Manchester United.

The German departed Anfield back in the summer of 2018, [completing](https://www.juventus.com/en/news/news/2018/emre-can-signs-for-juventus.php) a move to Juventus after four seasons in a Reds shirt.

Since then, Liverpool have achieved extraordinary success, not only winning the Champions League and Club World Cup, but also sitting on the verge of a first-ever Premier League title.

Can is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund, having struggled to become a key man in Italy, with his options still looking open this summer.

The 26-year-old has been [linked](https://metro.co.uk/2020/01/10/emre-can-will-reject-manchester-united-transfer-12035214/) with a move to United, though, which may not go down well with Liverpool fans, given the rivalry between the two clubs.

Can has revealed to [Kicker](https://www.kicker.de/771722/artikel/can_ich_hatte_allein_drei_angebote_aus_der_premier_league_) that he never considered a switch to Old Trafford, however, such is his respect for his former side.
