# Liverpool fans love what Oxlade-Chamberlain did to Man United fans

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is still battling to find the form and fitness that saw him thrive so much for Liverpool back in 2017/18.

A serious knee injury meant he missed over a year of action, so it is understandable that he continues to find his feet this season.

The 26-year-old impressed from the substitutes’ bench against Manchester United on Sunday, helping the Reds earn a late 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Footage has emerged of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain talking to United fans after the final whistle, having reportedly been goaded by them during his warm-up.

The midfielder is seen trying to fist pump the rival fans, only to be told where to go, in no uncertain terms.

These Liverpool supporters love what they saw from Oxlade-Chamberlain on Twitter.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

This is a brilliant response from the Liverpool man, who was no doubt relishing getting some revenge after the earlier abuse in his direction.

Frankly, if you can’t take it, don’t dish it out in the first place.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was no doubt in high spirits after an influential cameo, in which his drive and purpose helped the Reds go up a gear.

He has put himself in contention to start away to Genk on Wednesday night, as Liverpool return to Champions League action.
