# Liverpool fans react as footage of Reds’ new training ground emerges

Some Liverpool supporters have been reacting positively to news regarding the Reds’ new training complex.

After 70 years spent at current home Melwood, Liverpool are on the verge of moving to pastures new, as they continue to kick on as a club.

Jurgen Klopp and his players will settle in at their new home [next month](https://www.thisisanfield.com/2020/10/liverpool-fc-to-move-to-new-training-ground-in-november/), with the new Kirkby-based ground [officially named](https://www.thisisanfield.com/2020/10/liverpool-confirm-official-name-of-new-kirkby-training-ground-with-rights-deal/) as the AXA Training Centre.

It is seen as a state-of-the-art facility, and perhaps most importantly, it will see Liverpool’s senior players work alongside the youth teams every day.

That is all part of Klopp’s plan to bring everyone at the club closer together, also meaning he and his coaches don’t have to travel from one training ground to another in order to see a highly-rated youngster in action.

On Tuesday, the club’s [official Twitter account](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1320994893662244864?s=20) shared a video showing footage of the Reds’ new base, highlighting how impressive it is.

It is a venue worthy of having the Premier League champions occupying day in, day out, and while Melwood is very much an institution, the time had come to move on.

These Liverpool fans have been reacting to the footage on Twitter, with positivity the order of the day.

> Looks fantastic! Great to have the 1st team and youth teams all together (something Klopp really wanted) with up to date top level facilities.
