# Liverpool fans react to Europa League draw

Liverpool were drawn against Manchester United in the last 16 of the Europa League and it appears, at least on social media anyway, that Reds fans are delighted with the draw.

Despite his obvious troubles at Man United, Louis van Gaal has a very good record against Liverpool, winning all four league meetings between his side and the Reds.

However, that doesn’t seem to phase this selection of fans who told us via Twitter ([@ReadLiverpoolFC](https://twitter.com/readliverpoolfc)), that they are happy with being drawn against United.

> Twitter: @ReadLiverpoolFC they have beat us twice this season.they won’t beat us 4 times put it that way. Cmon pool (@livyoak)

> Twitter: @ReadLiverpoolFC With sturridge fit (fingers crossed) and coutinho, firmino in behind… Uniteds gonna get destroyed by us… MARK my words! (@HKhan13)

> Twitter: @ReadLiverpoolFC We’ve received a fair few beatings from them recently, but I believe if Sturridge and Phil are on, that anythings possible. (@nu\_jacques)

> Twitter: @ReadLiverpoolFC they’re as beatable as anyone else in the last 16, Travel will save us, but tough second leg (@Tristan71)

The ties between Liverpool and Man United will take place on Thursday 10th March and Thursday 17th March.
