# Liverpool fans react to Clyne and Lallana’s potential summer exits

It was [reported](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/02/03/reliable-journalist-confirms-clyne-and-lallanas-likely-summer-exits/) on Monday that Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana are expected to leave Liverpool this summer.

That is according to the [Independent’s](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/liverpool-transfer-news-mbappe-sancho-havertz-summer-melissa-reddy-a9314306.html) Melissa Reddy, who claimed that they could be the only players to depart the club during the next transfer window, with a ‘quiet summer’ [predicted](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/liverpool-transfer-news-mbappe-sancho-havertz-summer-melissa-reddy-a9314306.html) at Anfield.

Lallana [joined](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/27647888) Liverpool from Southampton back in the summer of 2014, making the switch for £25 million.

[Injuries](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-lallana/verletzungen/spieler/43530) have dogged the 31-year-old’s time at the club, but he has [scored](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-lallana/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/43530) 22 goals in 175 Reds appearances.

Clyne also [arrived](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33344772) from Saints, linking up with his former teammate the following summer.

A steady right-back when fit, the Englishman hasn’t played for Liverpool since December 2018, having picked up a [cruciate ligament injury](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49103049) last summer.

These Liverpool supporters have been providing their reactions to the news of Clyne and Lallana’s potential exits this summer, also revealing who else they think could move on.

> Wonderfully written! So only lallana and Clyne are expected to part way this summer right? Shaqiri is happy as he is? Gosh hope he stays. [https://t.co/mSNXLyk3P3](https://t.co/mSNXLyk3P3)
