# Liverpool fans react to staggering Coutinho statistic

Philippe Coutinho had a chance to become a Liverpool legend, but he ran out of patience.

The Brazilian opted to join Barcelona in January 2018, but he suffered a dismal time of things in Spain.

At the same time, Liverpool reached the Champions League final, before winning the competition the following year, as well as accumulating 97 points in the Premier League.

Coutinho is trying to rebuild his career at Bayern Munich, who he has joined on loan for the season.

A staggering statistic regarding the 27-year-old has emerged, with [https://twitter.com/Tactical_Times/status/1196564002857455616?s=20](https://twitter.com/Tactical_Times/status/1196564002857455616?s=20)*[The Tactical Times](https://twitter.com/Tactical_Times/status/1196564002857455616?s=20)* claiming that he is costing Bayern £560,000 per game currently.

These Liverpool supporters have been reacting to the stat on Twitter, with not too much sympathy on show for Coutinho:

> Nice guy. Impatient. Made all the wrong decisions. Now paying for it. What a pity.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

There must be a part of Coutinho that regrets ever leaving Liverpool, considering what has happened in the 22 months since.

At the time, he saw Barca as a step forward, but his reputation has only been damaged since heading to the Nou Camp.

There were fears from some that Liverpool would miss Coutinho hugely when he left, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

The Reds have only got better since the Brazil international exited.
