# Liverpool fans send best wishes to Grabara after injury leaves him in hospital

Kamil Grabara suffered a [serious head injury](https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/huddersfield-town-liverpool-loan-keeper-17648411) on Tuesday night, in Huddersfield Town’s [2-1 win](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51185378) away to Hull City in the Championship.

The Liverpool goalkeeper was knocked unconscious after a clash with teammate Christopher Schindler and was eventually stretchered off and taken to hospital.

Grabara has been enjoying a loan spell at Huddersfield, having [joined](https://www.htafc.com/news/2019/july/loan-goalkeeper-kamil-grabara-joins-town/) on a season-long deal from the Reds last summer.

The 21-year-old has made [28 appearances](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/364015/Show/Kamil-Grabara) in the Championship this season, with the Terriers sitting [19th in the table](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table).

Liverpool will hope that the move to England’s second tier has been beneficial for Grabara, having [impressed](https://www.thisisanfield.com/2019/06/kamil-grabara-impresses-on-and-off-the-pitch-as-the-polish-wall-shines-at-u21-euros/) at the Reds’ academy before that.

The youngster now looks set for a spell out of the team after this setback, with precautions required with any head injury.

These supporters have been wishing Grabara all the best on Twitter, hoping he makes a swift recovery in the coming weeks.
