# Liverpool linked with move for Bernardeschi

Liverpool are keeping tabs on Juventus star Federico Bernardeschi, according to *Calciomercato*, via [https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-are-watching-player-club-could-consider-sale-if-theres-important-offer/](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-are-watching-player-club-could-consider-sale-if-theres-important-offer/)*[Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-are-watching-player-club-could-consider-sale-if-theres-important-offer/)*.

The 25-year-old has struggled for regular playing time this season, leading to question marks surrounding his future.

The last time he played an entire 90 minutes was against Lecce back in October, with Juve manager Maurizio Sarri preferring the trio of Paulo Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain.

Liverpool are believed to be ‘watching’ Bernardeschi, but there hasn’t been any bid made for his services.

It is seen as an unlikely move, especially with Takumi Minamino thought to be on the cusp of joining the Reds.

Bernardeschi is a talented player, but he is blowing hot-and-cold at the moment and there is a feeling that he isn’t reaching his potential.

With Minamino coming in, it would be a surprise if Liverpool made a move for the winger.

He hasn’t proved that he can perform consistently at the very highest level to justify being a reliable signing for the Reds.
