The 17-year-old is a hugely exciting prospect, so the Reds should consider adding him to their midfield. He was named Ligue 1’s [Player of the Month](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/eduardo-camavinga-angola-teenager-named-ligue-1-player-of/52aiht0zjxc916y7zqu9oae19) for August, despite being just 16 at the time, which speaks volumes about his potential.

Jurgen Klopp is in a position where he may not want to sit still in the transfer market, allowing his team to age without realising. James Milner is now 34, while Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum turn 30 this year, so future planning is required.

Despite his very tender years, Camavinga has managed [24 starts](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/369109/Show/Eduardo-Camavinga) in the league this season, scoring once and picking up two assists, too. Described by WhoScored as one of Europe’s [breakthrough stars](https://www.whoscored.com/Articles/uToWhBiUlEiVC6GqILjr3w/Show/Breakthrough-Stars-of-201920-Rennes-teenage-midfield-linchpin-Eduardo-Camavinga), Camavinga is being tipped for a very big future in the game.

He could potentially come in and continue to develop in Liverpool’s first-team, popping up with sporadic appearances before becoming increasingly important to the side as time goes by.
