# Liverpool fans mock rumours linking Tevez with return to Man United

It was another night to forget for Manchester United to forget on Wednesday, as well as one to treasure for Liverpool supporters, and most other fanbases for that matter.

The Red Devils suffered a [humiliating 2-0 loss at home to Burnley](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51115604), thanks to goals from Chris Wood and Jay Rodriguez.

The defeat leaves [United 30 points behind Liverpool](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/table) in the Premier League table, with almost half of the season still remaining still.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been given a [vote of confidence](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12040/11915520/ole-gunnar-solskjaer-retains-support-of-man-utd-board-despite-loss-against-burnley) by the club’s board, but he will receive his marching orders sooner rather than later, in my opinion.

Results have been poor for too long and superior managers could be brought in, such as Mauricio Pochettino.

With star striker Marcus Rashford out injured, United have been linked with a bizarre move for former hero Carlos Tevez.

The [https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7920217/Manchester-United-line-sensational-loan-swoop-Carlos-Tevez.html](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7920217/Manchester-United-line-sensational-loan-swoop-Carlos-Tevez.html)*[Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7920217/Manchester-United-line-sensational-loan-swoop-Carlos-Tevez.html)* claim he could be set for a sensational return to Old Trafford this month, despite turning 36 in February.

These rival supporters, including Liverpool fans, haven’t been able to stop themselves from mocking the rumour on Twitter.
