# Liverpool one of three Premier League clubs interested in Osimhen

Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are all interested in signing Victor Osimhen, according to *[Sky Sports News](https://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre)*.

The Premier League trio are described as being among “a host of clubs” keen on acquiring the Lille forward’s services, with Spurs the possible favourites.

Osimhen is expected to remain at the Ligue 1 team for the rest of the season, rather than exiting in the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old’s primary aim is to concentrate on helping Lille reach next season’s Champions League.

Osimhen would represent a long-term signing for Liverpool, rather than someone who would come straight in and become a regular.

Eventually, there will come a time when the world-class front-three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino will need replacing – hopefully not for a long time yet – and the youngster could be a strong option in that respect.

There is competition for his signature, however, so there is no guarantee that he will move to Anfield.
