# Liverpool Player Ratings: Porto (A)

Liverpool dodged a Porto scare to beat them 4-1 on the night and 6-1 on aggregate to reach the Champions League semi-final.

The home side, who were 0-2 behind at the kick-off, began the game well with Moussa Marega again troubling the Reds’ defence.

But around the 27th minute, Jurgen Klopp’s stringed together an attack and Mohamed Salah found Sadio Mane at the back post to score the opening goal. The goal was initially chalked off but correctly given after VAR check.

After that, the away side took control of the game. In the second half, Klopp made changes that affected the game in a positive way.

Trent Alexander-Arnold fed Salah through on the counter in the 65th minute. The Egyptian took a touch and slotted his effort past Iker Casillas.

Porto did score from a corner when Eder Militao jumped the highest to head past Alisson.

Liverpool then netted two later goals to put the icing on the cake and march onto the semifinals of the Champions League.
