# Liverpool Player Ratings: Tottenham (H)

Liverpool dramatically defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Anfield to stay in touch in this maverick Premier League title race.

Roberto Firmino and Toby Alderweireld’s own goal proved decisive for the home side, while Lucas Moura equalised at one time for the visitors, who were slightly unlucky to go away without a point.

Firmino opened the scoring in the 16th minute when Andy Robertson well found him with a peach of a cross. The Brazilian just had to get his header right and score for Liverpool.

Spurs came back well in the second half and deservedly got level with 20 minutes to go when Lucas Moura was at the right place at the right time to score.

After Moussa Sissoko failed to finish off Liverpool by missing a sitter, Mohamed Salah’s header in the 90th minute forced Hugo Lloris into an uncomfortable save that hit Alderweireld and went into the back of the net.

All in all, it was a much-needed three points for Jurgen Klopp’s men, who are currently top of the table, having played a game more than Manchester City.

Here’s how we rated the Liverpool players:
