# Liverpool receive boost as N’Dicka prefers move to England this summer

Evan N’Dicka prefers a move to England over Italy this summer, according to [Arena Napoli](https://www.areanapoli.it/calciomercato/esclusiva---n-dicka-napoli-scambio-di-informazioni-con-l-entourage-di-pepe-ma-sogna-la-premier_365455.html), acting as a boost to Liverpool.

The Reds were [linked](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/03/23/liverpool-and-arsenal-monitoring-ndicka/) with the Eintracht Frankfurt star earlier in the week, with Arsenal also believed to be eyeing him up.

While a switch to Serie A has been mooted, it appears as though N’Dicka, who is [valued at £22.5m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/evan-ndicka/profil/spieler/371149), is keen on playing in the Premier League.

The 20-year-old has made [14 starts in the Bundesliga this season, also scoring once in the Europa League](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/323450/Show/Evan-Ndicka).

I see N’Dicka as an ideal fourth-choice centre-back for Liverpool next season, assuming Dejan Lovren moves on. At 20, N’Dicka is unlikely to be demanding regular first-team action, acting as an understudy to Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.

The Croatian may [leave](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/03/06/lovren-could-leave-liverpool-this-summer-after-almost-exiting-12-months-ago/) this summer, meaning the Reds will need a tailor-made replacement.

N’Dicka has enough experience – [56 league appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/evan-ndicka/detaillierteleistungsdaten/spieler/371149) in Ligue 2 and the Bundesliga – to slot in when required. However, his job could be to act as a solid squad player to begin with, maturing over time and hopefully becoming more prominent in Liverpool’s back-line in the years to come.
