# Liverpool set to make final Keita offer

Liverpool are set to make their final offer for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita.

According to [The Independent,](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/naby-keita-liverpool-final-transfer-offer-75million-rb-leipzig-a7854176.html) Liverpool are ready to offer £75m for the midfielder to seal a deal.

Liverpool are, however, only willing to pay £40m up front, with the other £35m coming in add-ons.

They are confident of their final offer securing a deal to sign the former Salzburg number eight.

The club have already seen two offers turned down for Keita. The report claims that Liverpool have already had bids of £57m and £66m turned down but are set to come back as they look to land their number one midfield target.

Leipzig are keen to retain Keita for next season but Liverpool will hope to tempt them into selling this summer.

The German outfit – owned by Red Bull – finished second in the table last season, earning themselves qualification for the Champions League.

They will be hoping that is enough to secure Keita’s future for another season after the 22-year-old played a pivotal role in their success.
