The Reds expected to be in their new home in Kirkby before the start of the 2020/21 season, moving away from Melwood after spending decades there.

Work started on the impressive new £50 million facility back in 2018 and is seen as another positive step forward for the club.

The senior players will train at the same location as the academy hopefuls, as a way of creating an even more close-knit environment.

The report states that “Klopp and first-team players have been consulted on key decisions as the club close in on completion of what they believe will be one of Europe’s finest training complexes.”

Although saying goodbye to Melwood will be a sad moment, it is time for a change.

Liverpool are in a position where they are one of the most appealing clubs in world football, especially having won the Champions League last season.

The new training ground looks fantastic and its facilities should help the club going up yet another gear.

Klopp’s decision to have players of all age groups in the same place is an inspired one, making it far easier to track the progress of youngsters.
