A number of Liverpool supporters have reacted to a heartwarming social media post from Gini Wijnaldum.

The Dutchman has become a hugely popular figure at Anfield, shining in the Reds’ midfield over the past four seasons.

Wijnaldum was superb against Atletico Madrid in midweek, despite Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat, heading home the opening goal.
