# Liverpool target Federico Chiesa happy at Fiorentina

Federico Chiesa has claimed that he is happy at Fiorentina, amid speculation that Juventus and Liverpool are both interested in him.

Juventus offered €60m for the Italian international, who has been linked with Chelsea this year.

Fiorentina rejected their offer, however, and Chiesa stayed in Florence – where he looks set for a long future.

Chiesa has been impressing for Fiorentina and Italy and Liverpool are thought to be considering a move for him in the future.

[As quoted by TalkSport,](https://talksport.com/football/434469/chelsea-liverpool-transfer-news-chiesa-happy/) Chiesa said this:

> My only priority is to show, Sunday after Sunday, who Federico Chiesa is.

> I’m happy here at Fiorentina now. Again, I’m only thinking of the next game.

> I’m just thinking about proving my value all the time those numbers seem a bit exaggerated.

> Who would I buy for €60m (£52.8m)? Give me some more, because for the absolute top players you need €200m (£176m).

The 20-year-old has scored two goals in eight games this season, after scoring six in 38 last season.

He has already amassed 80 first-team appearances for Fiorentina and been capped seven times at international level by Italy, although he is yet to score for his country.
