# Liverpool warned Alisson is worth more than €50m

Ex-Roma goalkeeping coach Negrisolo has warned Liverpool that Alisson is worth more than €50m, amid reported interest from the Premier League side.

Negrisolo has claimed that Alisson is worth far more than €50m, which would break the world-record transfer fee for a goalkeeper, and has hailed him as the ‘Messi of goalkeepers’.

Speaking to *[Il Romanista](https://www.ilromanista.eu/news/as-roma/2521/intervista-a-roberto-negrisolo-alisson-il-messi-dei-portieria),* Negrisolo said this about Alisson.

> Is Alisson worth €50m? Don’t be silly, he’s worth far more than that.

> I don’t think many people have realised who Alisson is. This guy is a phenomenon. He is the number one of number ones. He is the Messi of goalkeepers, because he has the same mentality as Messi. He is a goalkeeper who can mark an era.

> There is absolutely no comparison with Gianluigi Donnarumma, because Alisson is extraordinary. The first time I saw him play, he wasn’t yet on the Roma books. I watched him play for Brazil and he made an enormous impression on me.

> The way he behaves in the goal, he reminds me of Dino Zoff. I’d also compare him to Michel Preud-Homme, who had the class of someone born to be a goalkeeper.

French giants PSG are also said to be interested in Alisson as they look to further strengthen their squad.

Liverpool are eyeing up a new number one for next season, with Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius failing to impress.

Alisson has been in terrific form for Roma and Brazil this season and looks set to start for his country in the World Cup this summer.
