# Liverpool fans urge Man United not to sack Solskjaer

Manchester United are in dire straits at the moment, sitting 15 points behind Liverpool in the Premier League table.

It feels like a lifetime ago that they were dominating English football, with the gulf in class between themselves and the Reds absolutely enormous.

There is predictable talk of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer losing his job, although the club could be hesitant to sack a man who remains hugely popular with many supporters.

From a Liverpool perspective, United keeping the Norwegian in charge is the best possible outcome.

These Reds fans have taken to Twitter to urge bitter rivals not to change things up.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

Although Solskjaer turning things around at Old Trafford should never be completely ruled out, he feels out of his depth.

He had a predictable purple patch at the start of his reign, when everything went his way, before normal service resumed.

United should be attracting one of the top managers in the world, so the longer Solskjaer is in charge, the longer Liverpool’s rivals will find themselves in the footballing wilderness.

Should they end up getting someone like Massimiliano Allegri or Mauricio Pochettino, despite his current struggles, United’s bleak period since Alex Ferguson would likely end.
