# Lundstram could miss Sheffield United’s clash with Liverpool

John Lundstram could miss Sheffield United’s clash with Liverpool through injury.

The Reds host the Blades at Anfield on Thursday afternoon, looking to keep up their incredible record of dropping just two points all season.

Chris Wilder’s side have been a revelation this season, however, with Sunday’s 2-0 loss at Manchester City their first away Premier League defeat of the campaign.

Lundstram has been a key performer for United, but he could be absent when his side take on Liverpool.

Wilder confirmed as much after the City game, [admitting](https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-united/latest-blades-news/sheffield-united-manager-chris-wilder-another-var-controversy-1351317) he may have aggravated an injury:

Lundstram has been superb for the Blades in 2019/20, scoring three goals from midfield and generally proving to be a hugely effective player.

His potential absence is clearly a boost for Liverpool, who are likely to be given a stern test by their opponents.
