# Man United fans are confident they can beat Liverpool to Sancho signing

Some Manchester United fans are confident of beating Liverpool to the signing of Jadon Sancho this summer.

The 20-year-old is one of the most talked-about young players in the world, starring for Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho joined from Manchester City in 2017 and has since gone on to score [31 goals in 90 appearances](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jadon_Sancho#Career_statistics) for the Bundesliga giants.

Viasport presenter Jan Arge Fjortoft has provided an update on the forward’s future on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/JanAageFjortoft/status/1243100118611525634?s=20), claiming Liverpool are still the favourites to sign him, but they would need to sell Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane in the process.

United’s interest in the €130 million-rated England international is also thought to be strong, as they look to add attacking quality to their squad.

It looks set to be an intriguing battle to sign Sancho, although remaining at Dortmund isn’t out of the question.

These United supporters took to Twitter to speak of their confidence that Liverpool were no threat to them, also mocking the update.

> Liverpool are going to break up their most successful attacking line up in 30 years, at their peak, to break the British transfer record, on a 19 y.o. who has never played in the Premier League? I'm not convinced of that Jan
