# Man Utd plotting move for Liverpool target Ben White

Leeds defender Ben White is attracting plenty of interest from Premier League clubs this season.

White, who is on loan to the Championship club from Brighton, has cemented his first-team spot at Elland Road and has been a standout performer this season.

Liverpool were linked with a £20m move for the centre-back during the summer transfer window and now, according to the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7672167/Man-Utd-plotting-double-swoop-Leeds-duo-Kalvin-Phillips-Ben-White.html), Manchester United are plotting a move for him.

United are understood to have sent scouts to watch White and have been ‘blown away’ by what they have seen from the 22-year-old.

Should Liverpool battle for his signature?

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Absolutely. White is one of the rising stars of English football and could go on to become one of the best in his position.

The fact that there is so much interest in him shows that he has that special something about him and Liverpool should absolutely try to secure his services.

However, Brighton will be more than aware of his impressive showings for Leeds and that could mean they increase his value or fight harder to keep him at the club. For the time being though, the player will only be focused on securing promotion with Leeds.
