# Norwich ready to cash in on Liverpool target

Norwich City are ready to cash in on Liverpool target James Maddison, with Leicester and Everton lining up moves.

[According to The Mirror,](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-everton-eyeing-james-maddison-12676154) Norwich are now prepared to sell Maddison to fund their own transfers this summer.

The report claims that Everton and Leicester are both looking to make an offer for Maddison over the next week.

This is in an attempt to stave off interest from the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City.

Leicester are thought to be the favourites, as Norwich look to take in around £25m from the sale of Maddison.

Fulham are said to be showing an interest, although they are unlikely to match the financial strength of Leicester and Everton.

Liverpool’s interest appears to have waned for the moment, though, having been pursuing a deal for Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir.

However, the breakdown of that deal could spell a move for Norwich’s Maddison in the coming weeks.
