# Origi and Wilson to be given chance in Pre-Season

Diviock Origi and Harry Wilson are set to be handed an opportunity this Summer to prove their worth to Jurgen Klopp, with both set to play in the Reds pre-season games this Summer, according to [Goal](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/liverpools-ovie-ejaria-set-for-rangers-loan-switch/1h67d1ek2pzp91grakotbt0g2t).

The Reds recently announced four domestic friendlies in July, before they fly off to the United States later in the month.

Origi and Wilson are both set to be given an opportunity to impress Klopp, with both being sent out on loan last season to Wolfsburg and Hull City respectively.

Origi struggled in Germany, after a good start in the Bundesliga. At the end of his spell, Origi could only make the bench and failed to make the Belgian world cup squad, a disappointing moment for the striker after having a breakout tournament in 2014.

Harry Wilson, on the other hand, impressed massively for Hull City, notching numerous goals in his short time at the KCOM Stadium. The Tigers avoided a second successive relegation in part thanks to Wilson.

The pair are set to be handed a chance to impress, but Daniel Sturridge, who had a disappointing spell at West Brom last season, is set to depart the club.
