# Predicted Liverpool XI – Cardiff City (H)

Liverpool resume their league campaign with a home game against Cardiff City this Saturday, hoping to stretch their unbeaten start in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp’s men were below-par last week at Huddersfield but managed to sneak a 1-0 win.

However, they were at their commanding best during the midweek Champions League game against Red Star Belgrade. Hence, the team is in a good place individually and collectively going into this game against Neil Warnock’s men.

Captain Jordan Henderson and midfielder Naby Keita are ruled out of this game. Other than that, the manager has a wide enough squad to pick his 18 from for Saturday.

Cardiff will be tough opponents because they have the propensity to sit deep for long periods and frustrate the opposition. They beat Fulham 4-2 last week and looked very good on the counter, something which Klopp will be keeping an eye on.
