# Predicted Liverpool XI v Watford

Fresh off the back of one of the more memorable Anfield nights in recent memory, Liverpool face Watford in the Premier League on Sunday.

A 3-0 win at home to Villarreal secured the Reds a spot in the Europa League final, and a shot at the Champions League.

Domestically speaking, Liverpool’s season has been more inconsistent than Ryan Giggs’ commitment to his wife. Just 55 points from 35 games, a season blighted by a managerial change and multiple injuries was never going to produce an exhilarating title challenge.

Perhaps no more is this inconsistency best illustrated than the reverse fixture against Watford. An infuriating 3-0 defeat at the hands of Quique Sanchez Flores’ team saw the Redmen exposed in defence and offering little impetus going forward.

It may have been the worst Liverpool performance of the season.

After a hectic schedule, with the season in wind-down mode, and a European final to worry about, it’s anyone’s guess what the team might look like ahead of the match.

Still, here’s the predicted XI.
