# QUIZ: How much can you remember about Xabi Alonso and Luis Garcia?

Liverpool have made a flying start to the 2019/20 season, winning their first two Premier League games to top the table.

On top of that, Jurgen Klopp’s men have sealed UEFA Super Cup glory, getting another trophy in the cabinet early in the campaign.

Although it is the current crop of Reds stars that we currently adore, there’s nothing wrong with get misty-eyed and harping back to the past now and again.

On this day on 2004, both Xabi Alonso and Luis Garcia signed for Liverpool, making exciting summer moves from their homeland of Spain.

The pair felt like exciting arrivals and they would go on to have hugely productive Reds careers, not least the small matter of winning the Champions League in their first season at the club.

The question is: how well do you remember the Spanish duo and what they achieved in a Liverpool shirt?
