# Rabiot set to pick Barcelona over Liverpool

Liverpool transfer target Adrien Rabiot is eyeing a move to Barcelona over a switch to Anfield in the summer.

[According to Sport ES](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/reunion-por-rabiot-barcelona-7228964), Liverpool have been in talks with Rabiot’s agent this week, but the midfielder has made it clear that he wants to sign for Barcelona.

Fellow Premier League side Tottenham are also said to be keen, but Barcelona are the favourites at this moment in time – despite denying a deal last month.

Barcelona released a statement in December claiming that they had not agreed a pre-contract deal with Rabiot outside of the January window – which is against FIFA rules – following contradictory reports.

Jurgen Klopp is known to be a fan of Rabiot and is still hoping to lure him to the Premier League at the end of the season.

Rabiot is out of contract in six months and is not prepared to sign a new deal with PSG to stay in France.
