# Rangers make official offer to take Solanke on loan

Rangers have made an official offer to take Dominic Solanke on loan from Liverpool next month.

[According to Football Insider,](https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-rangers-make-formal-move-to-bring-pl-attacker-to-ibrox-in-january/) Rangers have firmed up their interest in Solanke by making a move for the forward.

Solanke is behind Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge in the pecking order at Liverpool and has found his chances hard to come by since his move to Anfield.

The report claims that Premier League side Crystal Palace are also showing an interest in Solanke and could make a move in the next transfer window.

Solanke has impressed this season for England’s under-21’s, scoring a number of goals for the national side.

The 21-year-old scored once in 27 appearances last season for Liverpool and earned his first cap for England at senior level.

His best season to date was a loan spell in Holland with Vitesse, where he scored seven goals in 25 league appearances, whilst on the books at Chelsea.

Rangers are thought to be the favourites at this moment in time.
