# Ranking Liverpool’s top 10 players of the decade

The 2010s will be coming to an end in a couple of months – it’s fair to say it’s been an eventful decade at Liverpool.

It started off with the club in a dire state, following Rafa Benitez’s exit and the ill-fated reign of Tom Hicks and George Gillett.

Fenway Sports Group (FSG) came in as new owners, while Roy Hodgson’s woeful short spell as manager was followed by the triumphant return of Sir Kenny Dalglish in early 2011.

The Liverpool legend did his bit before being replaced by Brendan Rodgers, who came agonisingly close to winning the Premier League title for the Reds.

Once Rodgers ‘ time was up in late 2015, Jurgen Klopp came in, starting a glorious new period in the club’s history.

Slowly but surely, the German has turned Liverpool into a magnificent side and they will end the decade as reigning European champions, also challenging Manchester City for Premier League supremacy.

We’ve had a bit fun of decided to rank the Reds’ top 10 players since 2010 – let us know if you agree (or not!)…

***(Honourable mentions: Jamie Carragher, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Raheem Sterling).***
