# Real Madrid considering Fekir swoop

Real Madrid are considering a move for Liverpool target and Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir.

According to Spanish outlet [Diario Gol](https://www.diariogol.com/real-madrid/es-mejor-que-salah-lopetegui-tiene-un-plan-b-o-el-fichalo-a-florentino-perez_562277_102.html), Real Madrid are eyeing Fekir as a potential target this summer.

The report claims that Real are looking at Fekir as a possible alternative to Liverpool forward Mo Salah.

Real have been linked with a move for Salah after his record-breaking first season at Liverpool, with the English side unwilling to cash in on their player of the season.

Liverpool were on the verge of completing a deal for Fekir earlier this month, only for it to collapse at the last moment.

Fekir had agreed a contract, chosen a shirt number and recorded his first interview as a Liverpool player, only for the club to back out of the deal on medical grounds.

Real Madrid are now looking to capitalise on this and make their move for Fekir over the coming weeks.
