# Rodri admits Liverpool are the best team he has faced

Manchester City midfielder Rodri has hailed Liverpool as the greatest club side he has faced.

The Reds have made an incredible start to the Premier League, earning 49 points from a possible 51.

On top of that, Jurgen Klopp’s side are the reigning European champions, with no club side in the world more feared.

City have been powerless to keep up with Liverpool so far this season and Rodri has given an honest assessment of the Reds.

Speaking to [Goal](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/rodri-feels-fortunate-to-have-worked-with-two-of-the-best-in/2da65mbc5p201r23n15iaimmf), the Spaniard admitted he has never faced a better team than the Premier Leaders:

> On an individual basis I can say that Liverpool are the best team I have faced.

> They dominate at both ends of the field, they are very aggressive. They dominate the lines well and that makes them a fearsome team.

> They are very good, but anyone can beat him so we are going to fight until the end.

When someone like Rodri heaps such praise on Liverpool, you know how good they are.

The City star faced the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid during his time at Atletico Madrid, but he considers the Reds best of the lot.

This is a truly special team we are watching – let’s hope they keep up this relentless streak.
