# Salah trains away from Liverpool teammates ahead of Man United clash

Mohamed Salah remains a doubt for Liverpool’s trip to bitter rivals Manchester United on Sunday, according to the *Evening Standard*‘s [David Lynch](https://twitter.com/LynchStandard/status/1184101071536435201?s=20).

The Egyptian limped off in the Reds’ 2-1 win over Leicester City in their last outing, following a hefty challenge by Hamza Choudhury.

Salah trained away from his Liverpool teammates on Tuesday and is “following a bespoke programme in a bid to ensure he is fit” for the weekend trip to Old Trafford.

Liverpool look in good health ahead of the massive game, with Salah now the only really fitness concern.

The 27-year-old hasn’t always hit top form yet this season, but his pace and movement will be vital against United.

He is still looking for his first Reds goal at Old Trafford – Sunday would be the perfect time to change that.

Alisson and Joel Matip’s respective returns represent a huge boost for Jurgen Klopp’s side, who are looking to preserve their 100 percent record in the Premier League.
