Asked whilst on international duty, Shaqiri refused to speak about any potential switch to Anfield, saying that he does not want to disrupt any of his agents work.

Speaking to BLICK, Shaqiri said:

> I can’t tell you anything right now. I think my agents take care of my future. I’m focussing on the national team right now.

The Swiss winger is linked with a move to Anfield, bringing a wealth of experience in European football.

Shaqiri will join his colleagues as he and the Swiss National Team travel to Russia for this Summer’s World Cup. Shaqiri scored a sensational goal at Euro 2016, and will be hoping to again provide for his country in this year’s World Championships.
