# Southampton vs. Liverpool – Three Saints who may sin

There were mutterings of discontent among the Liverpool faithful about the business done over the summer transfer window – for me, something just didn’t feel right.

To go an entire summer window without signing a single Southampton player just felt wrong!

Clashes with Saints always seem to be games where the Reds could be looking at a next potential signing, considering Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren and Rickie Lambert have all moved in the past, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also joining after taking a detour via north London.

Southampton have been somewhat of a bogey team for Liverpool at times, enjoying the occasional upset against them.

After a hair-raising encounter at St.Mary’s last year, Jurgen Klopp’s men will need to take a look at the players who have the potential to upset the odds again on Saturday, or even start to pave the way for a move to Anfield.

After their 3-0 capitulation against Burnley, no midweek fixture and buoyed by a home crowd, Southampton will be looking to bounce back immediately.

Here are three potential dangermen for Liverpool to watch out for on the south coast this weekend.
