# Twitter Reacts: Arsenal 3-4 Liverpool

As first games of a season go, that was quite a wild one

The Premier League’s opening day had seen plenty of close affairs, with games being won by just the odd goal here and there.

Liverpool, though, well, Liverpool like to be different. Sure, in the end, they also only won by a single goal, but they did it in the most exciting way possible, winning 4-3.

At the final whistle, we asked some of the fans for their initial reaction to the win. Here’s what some of them had to say:

Alex was excited…

> Twitter: @ReadLiverpoolFC in the words of Jurgen Klopp…. BOOM! (@AlexHughes07)

… as was Veer.

> Twitter: @ReadLiverpoolFC WHAT A GAME! 2nd half team performance! (@Veer7Patel)

Adam wasn’t happy with the goalie or the left-back.

> Twitter: @ReadLiverpoolFC should of been 4-1 moreno an mignolet need to be benched asap (@adamakamrt)

Tim was happy with the win but has doubts over two of Liverpool’s defenders.

> Twitter: @ReadLiverpoolFC good win but very worried about our defence through the season Lovren and Moreno nowhere near good enough (@Timy\_86)

Matt, like most of us, was relieved but wants the club to sign a left back

> Twitter: @ReadLiverpoolFC relief, LB issue really needs to be addressed. Too much space between back 4 and midfield on occasions. (@matt\_tapley)

Toddey loved the win but is still worried about Liverpool and defending set-pieces.

> Twitter: @ReadLiverpoolFC Very pleasing to win. But still shows the same weaknesses a s before. Poor at the back, especially set pieces. (@ToddeyD)

To end, Tom, is well, a bit understated. Playing it cool, Tom. We can respect that.
