# “Stop talking” – Liverpool fans fume after Lovren does another interview

Liverpool’s 3-0 defeat to Watford on Saturday was probably the Reds’ lowest point of a wonderful season so far.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were well below their top level at Vicarage Road, as their hopes of going unbeaten in the Premier League swiftly ended.

Almost every Liverpool player struggled against the Hornets, whether it be Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho or an anonymous front-three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Dejan Lovren stood out [among](https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376221/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Watford-Liverpool) the Reds’ poorest performers, however, having come in for the [injured](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/388783-jurgen-klopp-on-joe-gomez-absence-against-watford) Joe Gomez.

His erratic display ultimately played a key role in the eventual outcome, even though it would be unfair to blame him solely for the loss.

Lovren is known for having a [penchant](https://www.empireofthekop.com/2018/07/16/dejan-lovren-has-dropped-another-controversial-interview/) for doing interviews, often tempting fate or irking supporters with his comments.

The Croatian was at it again after the Watford defeat, speaking to the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8063067/Dejan-Lovren-admits-Liverpools-shock-defeat-Watford-wake-call.html) about his shame at the team’s performance:

These Liverpool supporters have shown their frustration at Lovren on Twitter, simply telling him to stop with the constant talking.

> Dejan Lovren gave another interview post Watford. It would have been best for the Club to keep him away from the media as it’s a bit of a touchy situation with majority of fans….
