# These Liverpool fans react as Aubameyang heaps praise on front-three

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hailed Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino as “one of the best” attacking units in world football.

Liverpool’s front-three have forged a stunning partnership over the last three seasons, scoring and assisting at will and winning last season’s Champions League.

[Speaking](https://metro.co.uk/2019/08/23/pierre-emerick-aubameyang-claims-arsenals-crazy-front-three-can-match-liverpool-trio-10617948/) to *Sky Sports* ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Anfield on Saturday evening, Aubameyang praised the trio, also saying the Gunners’ attack can become as good:

> It will be a tough game against them. They are great players. They always try to go forward and try to get goals and assist each other.
>
> They are one of the best trios in the world.
>
> I see a lot of similarities. Pepe and me, we are quick players like Mane and Salah, while Laca is a player who can keep the ball and is really good with his feet like Firmino.
>
> So yes, we can say we are close enough.

Some Liverpool and Arsenal supporters have been reacting to Aubameyang’s comments on Twitter.

> If Liverpool signed Aubameyang and lacazette I have no doubt they would both score bundles of goals for our reserves. Maybe the odd league cup goal too!

### Read Liverpool Verdict

Aubameyang is clearly right to call Salah, Mane and Firmino one of the best attacks in the world, but in fact, the Liverpool trio are top of the pile currently.

Manchester City’s brilliant threesome of Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero certainly comes close, but who else is there?

Barcelona have huge names in the likes of Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Luis Suarez, but they are yet to gel as a unit.

Jurgen Klopp wouldn’t swap Salah, Mane and Firmino for anyone – they have the perfect balance and have been a revelation at Liverpool.

It could even be argued that the Reds have never possessed such a fearsome attack.
