# These Liverpool fans react as Brewster shares old photo with Gerrard

Rhian Brewster has reminded Liverpool supporters exactly how young he is by sharing an old photograph taken with Steven Gerrard.

The 19-year-old has emerged as one of the Reds’ most exciting academy prospects in years, having joined from Chelsea in 2015.

His father is a lifelong Liverpool fan and a Twitter post on Wednesday confirms he was present at Anfield before moving to the club, posing with Gerrard during what must’ve been the mid-to-late 2000s:

Brewster is still awaiting his Liverpool debut, as the club handle him carefully after missing over a year of action through injury.

He a special footballer who will reach great heights at Anfield, eventually blossoming into a star for club and country.

With some young players, such big claims are a risk, but Brewster is a one-off talent.

Patience may be required, with not too much expected too soon, and while he will likely never reach Gerrard’s level, he could forge a great career in his own right.
