# These Liverpool fans react to John Stones’ injury

Manchester City have been hit with another huge injury blow as John Stones has been ruled out for up to five weeks with a muscle injury.

MEN reporter Stuart Brennan has confirmed the news, with Stones joining fellow centre-back Aymeric Laporte on the treatment table.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

After Stones’ showing in Manchester City’s defeat to Norwich at the weekend, it may not be as big a blow for Pep Guardiola’s side as it looks. All jokes aside, Manchester City now have a real dilemma on their hands, with Nicolas Otamendi being their only fit central defender.

Liverpool are already five points clear at the top of the table and another injury to their title rivals can only be seen as a boost for Jurgen Klopp’s men, although it is never nice to see any player get injured – of course.
