# Tottenham fans are confident of beating Liverpool this weekend

Tottenham picked up a morale-boosting 5-0 win at home to Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday night, cruising to victory in the Champions League.

It has been a poor start to the season for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, with some feeling the team has come to the end of its cycle.

Spurs head to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, which looks like a daunting proposition.

These Tottenham supporters have a new-found optimism after their midweek triumph, however, predicting a positive result at Anfield.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

There is a feeling that some Spurs fans are getting carried away with one result against mediocre opposition.

Liverpool will provide a completely different test and the result at Anfield this weekend will ultimately show whether or not they are back on track.

The Reds will be wary of their opponents, though, considering the individual quality in their ranks.

Pochettino’s men are still capable of hurting anyone of their day, so Liverpool will know that they will have to play well to win.
