# Van Dijk and Oxlade-Chamberlain spotted having a kick-about on holiday

Virgil van Dijk and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been spotted having a kick-about together during their respective holidays in Dubai.

Liverpool’s senior players are enjoying a winter break currently, basking in the glory of being [22 points clear](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/table) at the top of the Premier League.

They won’t be in action again until February 15th, when Jurgen Klopp’s side make the [trip](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/match/2019-20/first-team/fixtures-and-results) to struggling Norwich City.

The hope is that this break recharges the batteries, ahead of what is hopefully a legendary end to the season, with Liverpool still fighting in three separate competitions, due in part to the youngsters’ [heroics against Shrewsbury Town](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsDvq9hoSkQ) on Tuesday night.

While the players may be enjoying some downtime, that doesn’t appear to be stopping them from playing football, with a new [video emerging on social media](https://twitter.com/Gerrard8FanPage/status/1225057357018943489?s=20) that shows Van Dijk and Oxlade-Chamberlain competing in a passing drill in the sunshine.

Gini Wijnaldum also appears to be present, with the Dutchman seen very briefly at the end of the video.
