# “We’re grateful to have him” – Alexander-Arnold hails Klopp’s brilliance

Trent Alexander-Arnold has hailed the brilliance of Jurgen Klopp, saying Liverpool’s players are “grateful to have a manager like him.”

Klopp continues to mastermind a memorable period in the club’s history, having led them to Champions League glory last season.

The Reds are also leading the way in the Premier League title race, as they look to clinch title glory for the first time since 1990.

Liverpool’s resurgence is mainly down to Klopp, who is cementing his reputation as the world’s best manager.

Alexander-Arnold has flourished under him, and in an interview with [LiverpoolFC.com](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/378206-trent-alexander-arnold-jurgen-klopp-watford-reaction?utm_source=Social&utm_medium=TwitterWebsiteCards&utm_content=Digital&utm_campaign=LFCTwitterCards), the youngster lauded his manager for the job he is doing:

> He has showed he is a world-class manager, if not the best in the world. He has done special things for the club and obviously the fans all love him.

> He fits perfectly. He has brought players in, he has moulded players into world-class players.

> We’re grateful to have a manager like him and obviously the more years he can spend here, the better it is for the club.

> So it’s really good for us to get a few more years out of him.

When Klopp arrived at Liverpool, it was clear that the Reds had acquired the services of a special manager.

The German is still exceeding expectations, though, threatening to create a dynasty at Anfield.

In many ways, he is the modern day Bill Shankly – if he steers Liverpool to the title this season, legendary status will immediately be secured.
