# West Ham have offer rejected for Liverpool target Vida

Liverpool target Domagoj Vida has been the subject of a €22m offer from West Ham.

[According to Aksam, via Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/west-ham-need-offer-e3m-significant-bid/), Besiktas have turned down West Ham’s opening bid for the defender.

The report claims that Besiktas are looking for a fee in the region of €25m for Vida, following his performances for Croatia at the World Cup.

Vida was a key cog in Croatia’s side as they reached the final of the World Cup for the first time in their history – going on to lose 4-2 to France in Russia.

Aksam claim that Vida wants to leave Besiktas and has told the Turkish giants of his ambition to play in the Premier League next season.

Liverpool are yet to make an official approach for Vida, with Jurgen Klopp possibly eyeing other targets.

Everton have also been previously linked with a move for the defender, but have also not yet made an offer.
