# What we learned from Liverpool’s first training session in Qatar

On Monday evening, Liverpool’s players took part in a training session in Qatar ahead of their FIFA Club World Cup semi-final with Monterrey on Wednesday.

Whilst the Reds have left a team of youngsters at home to compete against Aston Villa in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup, the first-team players arrived in Doha on Sunday evening and a day later, they took part in a session at the University Stadium.
